Windows Server 2008 R2 Features a New Active Directory Recycle Bin

As part of Windows Server 2008 R2, Microsoft introduced an Active Directory Recycle Bin feature to help ease the object recovery process.  There are several important factors to consider with this new feature.  For example, there is no user interface (UI) and scripting is required as well as a significant upgrade to your environment.  For more in-depth information, download the whitepaper at the bottom of the page or see Microsoft's Active Directory Recycle Bin Step-by-Step Guide.

View these short videos demonstrating the object recovery process using the Active Directory Recycle Bin and the same process using Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory.
