Spotlight® on MySQL

System Requirements
Spotlight on MySQL version 3.0

Spotlight on MySQL supports MySQL versions 5.0.3 or later that employ the InnoDB storage engine.

With reduced functionality, it also supports versions of MySQL that use other storage engines (such as MyISAM). Spotlight on MySQL may NOT support versions of the MySQL server prior to 5.0.3

To run Spotlight on MySQL successfully, you also need to have both of the following on the Spotlight client machine:

• MySQL client software
• MySQL Connector/ODBC software

If these utilities are not installed, you can download both from the MySQL Web site (www.mysql.com).

Server platforms - Operating systems:

• Sun Solaris 10
• Red Hat and SUSE operating systems running Linux 2.4 and 2.6 kernels
• Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP (SP2 or SP3), Windows 2003 Server, or Windows 2008 Server

Client platforms - Operating systems:

• Windows Vista: Service Pack 1 (or later) 
• Windows XP: Service Pack 1 (or later)
• Windows 2000: Service Pack 4 (or later)
